Candle Lighting Blessing (7 Sessions)
Each week, candles are lit in a Buddhist remembrance ritual, sending light, warmth, and blessings to your companion's spirit. Families may join or entrust this to us.
Monk Chanting — 头七 (Full Package)
The important 7th day ceremony, a Buddhist monk performs dedicated sutra chanting to ease your pet's transition and accumulate merit for their journey ahead.
Final Monk Chanting — 尾七 (Full Package)
The 49th and final day, the most significant ceremony of the journey. Sutras are chanted to complete the spiritual process and send your beloved companion forward with light and merit.

Questions about 49 Day Pet Ji Ling
Can family members visit the niche during the 49 days?
Yes. Families are welcome to visit during the 49-day memorial period to spend quiet time with their beloved companion. Visits are on appointment basis and within our studio opening hours.
Many families find comfort in continuing this bond through moments of reflection, prayer, or simply being present. We kindly ask that visits remain calm and respectful so the space can remain peaceful for all families.
What if I am unable to attend the candle lighting or chanting?
That is completely alright.
Our team can carry out the candle lighting or chanting arrangements on your behalf with sincerity and care. We understand that work, travel, or emotional readiness may make attendance difficult for some families.
Many pet parents find comfort simply knowing their beloved companion is still being remembered and honoured during this period.
Is the Ji Ling ritual suitable for all pets?
Yes. The Ji Ling memorial process is open to pets of all species, regardless of breed, age, or background.
Families from different spiritual beliefs may also choose to participate in their own personal way. For many, the ritual serves as a meaningful expression of remembrance, gratitude, love, and blessing for their pet’s journey.
How do I start the Ji Ling process?
Simply reach out to us via WhatsApp or phone call and let us know you wish to arrange for the Ji Ling service with us. Alternatively, you may also reach out to your assigned Everpet care specialist who will assist you with the Ji Ling process. Our team will gently guide you through every step, from registration to the final ceremony.
When should Ji Ling begin?
Ideally, Ji Ling arrangements typically starts as soon as possible after passing, especially for families who wish to observe the traditional 49-day memorial period.
However, there is no “perfect” timing. Every family grieves differently, and some may choose to begin later when they feel emotionally ready. We've had clients who start it on the first day, and some who joined us a week later.
What matters most is the sincerity of remembrance and love behind the ritual.
Can I use your Ji Ling service if my pet was cremated elsewhere?
Yes. Families may still engage our Ji Ling and memorial services even if their pet’s cremation was carried out elsewhere. At Everpet, we believe remembrance and love are not limited by where the cremation took place. If you wish to honour your pet through memorial rituals, candle lighting, or chanting arrangements, we would be honoured to support you.
